Was there last Friday (Sept 29) for a workmans comp ( chronic injury). Let me start by saying that when we visit a medical center, its usually because we don't feel well. The staff in Chicopee were very cold and unempethetic; from the triage nurse to the physician. After my "exam" she stated that I needed to see a "specialist" physical therapisist. During my checkout, I asked for the name of the "specialist" for physical therapy; I was told that "we dont have time for that right now. Someone will call you". Its now Sunday night and Ive yet to receive a phone call or email from this facility. I also asked for something for pain ( I have allergies to aspirin/ ibuprophen). I got a flat out "NO". Tylenol hasnt helped and so I stopped taking it (as I told the triage nurse), but was told by the physician to "continue" the tylenol and use ice. So whats the reason for asking a patient their pain scale if they're not going to follow up? I am a nurse and would NEVER treat my patients with such indignity and lack of respect. We put our trust in the medical team responsible for our care. I believe xrays should have been done; I believe that my pain should have been addressed. Last Friday was the last time that I will ever visit that facility.
All the ladies there were super friendly, made me feel comfortable, and I was in and out in under an hour.

I visited the chicopee M.E a couple times for myself with great results. However...today was an absolute disaster. I took someone close to.me there for symptoms that appeared early on in the week. The nurses were fine. The female M.D was downgrading, in her approach to the problem. She spoke with a sneer and the look of disgust on her face was barely concealed. Her attitude ruined any chance of the patient agreeing to a basic blood work up. She was rude, condescending, imperious, and I'm astounded by her lack of compassion and her disregard for finding a reasonable solution. I will shout it from the rooftops this half assed heartless incompetent ' doctor's is a disgrace. Mid 40's brown hair...total train wreck of a professional my regret? Not getting her name so I can file a grievance against her! I'm so disgusted.As a postscript this woman doctor dud assume the problem stemmed from our honest input. I can assure you that is NOT the case. I believe the patient is experiencing a toxicity due to a buildup of o.t.c meds. She offered the blood work sneeringly..
Said edgily" you don't even have a primary doctor..." I'm telling u I seriously am still so upset by her disregard and overall ASSUMPTION..i am.just sick over it
The doctors and nurses here were very helpful. I came in to the receptionist being very petty and unhelpful. Had one of them glaring at me across the room and snickering to the other receptionist. They seemed to want to give me a hard time and make things more difficult instead of resolving the problem. They also sat on their phones the whole time and I could hear them playing videos.
