We went there tonight to celebrate “us”. We decided on Masses because it’s closer than driving to CT or Maine for great seafood. Nate was our server tonight and was amazing, very attentive and worth the tip we left him. The food was really good and tasty. We ordered two appetizers such as the fried calamari and crab cakes and found both to be seasoned and well prepared. It was great and we enjoyed it. My hubby ordered the blackened swordfish and that alone was prepared very well with cream of spinach and on the side was the most creamy Mac and cheese. I went with the a la Carte King Crab legs and it was worth the wait time. The dessert NY cheesecake was good too. I gave it 5 stars because it was really good the food and the ambience was casual but very comfortable. I’d go there again just to enjoy the fresh seafood!!!
this place is so cozy and clean on the inside. the food is fantastic. i just cant figure out why nobody comes here clearly people dont have any taste. This restaurant is by far the best sea food location the area.
Masses was suggest by a friend that is a tremendous cook. It was so disappointing that we drove to our friends house to let him know about our experience. My husband who loves oysters order them immediately. They were$1.00 or $1.25 depending what sign you read. RED FLAG we sat at the raw bar were we had one drink 40 minutes later mind you the Happy Hour only last an hour. We are puzzled has the manager proceed s to send oysters out. Three more gentlemen walk in and he begins to serve them. Needless to say we where they only people of color in the restaurant. Money is green we decided to get up and leave instead if making a seen. So it was a horrible experience. Don't be fooled.....by the sign.
I was referred here to this location by my significant other. The experience was pleasant. The restaurant was clean and the waiter was friendly. We didn't wait too long to get seated. Ultimately, this is a seafood lovers dream; the menu isn't diverse enough to satisfy any individual, though. The primary focus of course is seafood and as such, you won't be able to bring every one here. Overall great experience.
I ordered mac and cheese with lobster. The lobster was overcooked. Staff was very good about me sending it back and selecting something else.
